Gordon Brown returning to Downing Street

Prime Minister Gordon Brown is returning to London, from his family home in Scotland. He went to Scotland yesterday afternoon to spend time with his famoly and rest. But now the Prime Minister is to return to Downing Street, and he will hold a meeting with senior ministers, such as the First Sectary Lord Mandelson and Home Sectary Alan Johnson.
Although several Downing St sources have denied reports that there will be a cabinet meeting today. Gordon Brown will be in Downing Street from 'between 2pm and 3pm' and is likely to see 'a number of ministers'," . They are also saying the cabinet is united in keeping Gordon Brown in place until the shape of a new government becomes apparent.This morning Nick Clegg confirmed, that he spoke to Gordon Brown on the phone.
