the final push

Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg are making their final day push for votes, as polls suggest the election result is on a knife edge.

Labour Prime Minister Mr Brown said he was "determined" and "resolute" and was "fighting for Britain's future".

Conservative leader Mr Cameron said his party were fighting to win the election "with everything we have got".
Urging voters to trust their "better instincts", Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg said this election is "our chance".

I'll tell you what i say; When u go to the polls tomorrow, remember your NHS, remember your children's school, remember the police on your street, remember your welfare state and finally remember your job.

Know that a cross against the tory candidate, would mean £6 billion cuts this year, which would then mean cuts to our police, cuts in our schools and cuts in our hospitals and most frightening of all, a double-dip recession

Know that a cross against the Liberals, would let in the above, through the back door.

Know this, only a vote for your Labour candidate, would secure the economic recovery and lock in growth for the future.

Only a vote for your Labour candidate, would ensure a million skilled jobs are created over the next few years.

Only a vote for your Labour candidate, would ensure public service reform to personalise services to individual needs.

And only a vote for your Labour candidate, would ensure that your Government would stand up for hard-working families and fight, fight and fight again for your hospitals, schools and your police.

So let's not go backwards with the Conservatives, let's go forward with Labour.
