19:02 BREAKING NEWS : The Conservatives are to make a final offer to the Liberal Democrats. George Osborne has just announced that they will offer a referendum on AV voting system. Apparently the Conservative Parliamentary Party have not objected, as they believe they where about to consigned to opposition again.UPDATE : The Tories would still be able to campaign against bringing in the AV system of voting if a Conservative-Lib Dem government brings in a referendum on the issue, William Hague says.
Mr Hague also says if the Lib Dems is to enter government with a Labour Party, this would not be secure, have another unelected prime minister and impose a voting reform without consulting the public. They would be making a "great mistake", he adds.
