Sad day for him aswell he will be relinquishing his title as Mr Brown resigns which include First Sectary of State, President of the Board of Trade and Lord President of the Privy Council.17:10 UPDATE : A senior Lib Dem source says talks with Labour were "amicable, but problems remain on deliverability and Labour cohesion". Meanwhile, Labour sources say the Lib Dems wanted unaffordable commitments on tax and spending. So that's why the talks came to a dead end.
