15:46 BREAKING NEWS : The former Prime Minister Sir John Major, has just said that giving Lib Dems cabinet seats is a "price worth paying" for the Conservatives to form a stable government. Mr Major also said the Lib Dems should consider a considerable offer by David Cameron, and he stated he believes both parties understand the need to take action on the structural deficit. He also said he doesn't think it's "credible" for the Lib Dem's Vince Cable to serve as Chancellor under David Cameron as Prime Minister, as they would have to work together very closely to deal with the economic crisis.
