The former Prime Minster Tony Blair was on the campaign trail today in NW London for labour.
This is a double edged sword, on the one hand, he still has supporters in middle England and could possibly re-energise the lacklustre labour campaign. the other side of the argument of having Blair back is that, labour lost millions of votes because of him in 2005, because of the Iraq War. And quite frankly the media hate him, i think more than they hate Gordon Brown, i don't know why, but they do.
First Secretary Lord Mandelson has denied that he is presiding over a lacklustre campaign. He claims that Mr Brown had “upped the tempo and will work even harder than he has to take Labour’s message around the country”.
Labour need to throw everything at this campaign now, its now or never. Gordon Brown, Lord Mandelson , Tony Blair, Lord Kinnock, Lord Hattersly , John Presscot and any other Labour stalwart need to get out their and fight, fight to win for Britain!
